Peanut butter, yogurt dip in bowl with apple slices, cinnamon jar, yogurt tub, and sliced apples on a kitchen counter.

Simple ingredients. Better eating, better energy.

Some afternoons, hunger sneaks up on you. Other days, you simply want a snack that feels a little luxurious, but still does something good for your body.

Then your brain has a Wise Owl moment: "What if satisfying doesn't have to mean overdoing it?"

A few minutes later, snack time looks a little different. Creamy. Crunchy. Sweet. Simple. Sometimes the best snacks are the ones that feel like a treat while still helping you feel your best.

Makes 1 serving

Ingredients

½ cup plain unsweetened yogurt

1 tablespoon natural peanut butter

1 apple, sliced

Sprinkle of cinnamon

Optional: 1 teaspoon honey, if desired

Directions

• Stir the yogurt and peanut butter together until smooth.

• Add honey, if desired, and stir to combine.

• Sprinkle with cinnamon.

• Slice the apple.

• Dip and enjoy.

Wise Owl Wisdom

Food is information. This simple snack combines protein, fiber, and satisfying flavors into a snack that feels more like dessert than a typical afternoon bite.

• Apples provide fiber and natural carbohydrates.

• Yogurt contributes protein and a creamy texture.

• Peanut butter adds flavor, richness, and satisfying fats.

• Cinnamon is an easy way to add warmth, flavor, and variety.

Sometimes better eating isn't about giving something up. Sometimes it's about turning simple ingredients into something you'll genuinely look forward to eating.

Happy Hound Habit: Pause and Enjoy

Before taking your first bite, pause for a moment. Take one slow breath. As you enjoy your first bite, notice the creamy dip and the hint of peanut butter. Notice how they transform a familiar apple into a snack that feels a little more like dessert.

Keep this recipe tucked away for those afternoons when hunger shows up before dinner, or when you're craving a dessert-like snack with a little less guilt.
