Simple ingredients. Refreshing flavor. Better energy one sip at a time.

Pink cherry-pineapple smoothie in a glass, garnished with cherry, mint, and pineapple; bowls of fruit and a pineapple nearby.

Have you ever had a Chaos Cat moment?  You know the kind.  You've already thought about skipping breakfast twice.  Your coffee is ready.  Your to-do list is growing.  And lunch feels a whole lifetime away.

Then a Wise Owl moment kicks in: "Maybe food before total panic would be a good idea."  A few minutes later, the Chaos Cat moment begins to fade.  You have a cold, refreshing, satisfying smoothie in your hands.

Sometimes wellness doesn't have to be complicated.  Often, simple is better.

Makes 1 large smoothie.

Ingredients

1½ cups fresh or frozen pineapple chunks

1 cup fresh or frozen cherries

⅓ cup plain unsweetened skyr yogurt

 ⅓–½ cup water

Directions

• Add all ingredients to a blender.

• Blend until smooth and creamy.

• Add additional water as needed to reach your preferred consistency.

• Pour into a glass and enjoy.

Wise Owl Wisdom

Food is information. This smoothie combines fruit, protein, hydration, and flavor into one simple meal or snack.

• Pineapple provides natural sweetness and vitamin C.

• Cherries contain colorful plant nutrients and add a refreshing tartness.

• Skyr yogurt contributes protein and creaminess.

• Water supports hydration and helps bring everything together.

Sometimes it starts with a blender, a few ingredients, and taking a moment to care for yourself.

Happy Hound Habit: Pause and Enjoy

Before taking your first sip, pause for a moment.  Take one slow breath and notice the color of your smoothie.

When you take your first sip, can you taste the pineapple first or do you notice the cherry?

Taking a moment to be present while enjoying your smoothie gives your body a chance to slow down and enjoy the experience.  Simple wisdom and small steps add up to better habits.

Keep this recipe tucked away for those days when you need a quick snack, a simple breakfast, or an easy meal to help bridge the gap between Chaos Cat and better energy.
